| Customer Reviews: Amazing April 22, 2010 Ceiridwen Fowles (Essex, England) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
After watching the show in the west end i immediately bought the album and have not stopped playing it since. Such a variety of songs and great performances from both Will Swenson (playing Berger) and Gavin Creel (playing Claude), as well as outstanding numbers from the rest of the cast.
The musical about the hippie movement of the sixties and the anti-war protests are relevant today, and I doubt you can listen to this and not feel compelled to march for 'beads, flowers, freedom and happiness'.
A truly wonderful music compilation from one of the best musicals of all time.

The CD is fantastic, I saw the westend production of Hair and love listening to the music over and over again.
Fantastic!!! August 14, 2010 justme Regretted not buying the CD at the show - couldn't buy it from the show's London website. LOVE the CD! Can't stop playing it and am driving the other half mad with renditions of "Aquarius" at the top of my voice!! You can hear the lyrics well, so get to understand the pacifist message of a lot of teh songs better. Though I do think it's a different Berger than the one I saw perform it in London. The case is well designed too - though it's card, not hard plastic, and it comes with a booklet with pictures and some of the history of the show.
Great re-capturing of a great evening June 11, 2010 J. C. Williams (Daventry, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Well, it's not the same as way back then but it was still pretty good - a real shame that its closing in London so soon - the album captures the liveliness of a show that surprisingly still works.
